Big booms expected Tuesday night in Owensboro
A pyrotechnic event, which is part of the City of Owensboro’s blackbird control program, will take place Tuesday night in the vicinity of the 2200 block of Belmont Drive.
Justin Mahoney, wildlife specialist with the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s APHIS Wildlife Services, will set off pyrotechnics each evening from approximately 8:00 p.m. Residents in the area should expect the loud noises and flashing lights from the controlled pyrotechnics during that time.
