Brescia art professor receives national recognition

Brescia University professor of art, David Stratton, recently had two of his works, Evergreen Corner and Grass Valley, selected for a national juried art exhibition at the Eastern Kentucky University Chautauqua National Juried Exhibition: Crossroads.

Stratton’s Evergreen Corner (above) received a Special Recognition Award, one of the highest awards presented at this national exhibition.

The event, which features 60 entries from 39 artists in 19 states, is sponsored by the EKU Department of Art and Design, the College of Arts and Sciences and the Chautauqua Lecture Series.
