Kentucky Wesleyan College will hold a Spring Open House this Saturday, February 23 from 9am – 1:30pm (Central Time). Registration will begin at 8:30am.

Students will have the chance to experience the excitement of college life at Kentucky Wesleyan.  The Open House includes tours of the campus and opportunities for students and their families to get information on the over 40 academic and pre-professional programs available, financial aid and scholarship opportunities, student life at KWC, NCAA college athletics, and more.

High school students and college transfer students are invited to attend, and if not already completed, are encouraged to bring with them an application for admission and an official school transcript in a sealed school envelope.

Students may register to attend the Open House online at www.kwc.edu/visit or by calling the KWC Admissions Office at 800-999-0592.  Walk-ins are also welcome.

In addition to the Open House, KWC will also host the Brown-Heritage Scholarship and STEM Scholarship competition this Saturday afternoon as well.  The Brown-Heritage is an invitation only scholarship competition with awards that range up to full tuition renewable for four years.  The STEM Scholarship competition offers awards up to $6,000 per year to incoming freshmen and transfer students.

“We are looking forward to an exciting time this weekend,” said Director of Admissions, Rashad Smith.  “With the Open House and the scholarship candidates along with their families, it’s going to be a wonderful, busy day on campus!” Smith added.
