PBS will explore Owensboro filmmaker's work | Arts & Culture

Owensboro filmmaker P.J. Starks, founder of Verite Cinema, will be featured in the 21st season of the PBS show Main Street as part of an interest piece about the writer/director's film work within the community.
The show, which highlights interesting people, places and things, will air in late March.
As apart of this piece PBS will be on site at the Daviess County Public Library on Friday, February 1, taping portions of Verite Cinema's six week film series Unscripted: An Indie Film Xperience.
The doors open at 8:30 pm and films start screening at 9 pm. There is no admission charge and Free popcorn and drinks are available. To find out more, click here.
