New law firm opening in Owensboro | Business
Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC is opening an office in Owensboro, the eighth for the firm and the sixth location in Kentucky.
“We are very excited to continue our expansion throughout Western Kentucky,” managing director, Bill Lear, said. “Our goal with this opening is to better serve existing clients in the area and offer our services to new ones.”
President and CEO of Greater Owensboro Economic Development Corporation, Nick Brake, said “Stoll Keenon Ogden is one of Kentucky’s oldest, largest and most well-respected law firms. Their opening of an office here reflects their recognition that Owensboro is primed for growth and their desire to both contribute to it and be a part of it.”
The Owensboro office will have two attorneys. Joining the firm is a longtime Owensboro attorney with more than 40 years of legal experience, Charles Lamar, who has also been AV Preeminent Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® for more than 20 years. Tim Kline, a 1995 graduate of Daviess County High School, who joined SKO in 2010 after three years practicing in a top New York City firm, will also practice in the Owensboro office.
SKO’s office opens late-January and is located at 101 East Second Street, Suite 200.
