Caught red-handed? DC sheriff says teens arrested for vehicle break-ins | Crime
Two teenagers and a juvenile have been charged with three counts of theft after the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office says they were caught breaking into cars.
Deputies arrested Jordan T. Hall and Hunter T. Beard at about 4:45 Tuesday morning in the Woodcrest subdivision off Highway 144.
Dispatchers received reports of suspicious activity and deputies located the suspects shortly thereafter.
They’re accused of taking baseball and softball equipment, a radar detector and GPS device. Deputies say they also learned the suspects tried to break into at least two other automobiles in the subdivision.
They’ve been charged with felonies and the stolen property has been returned to its owners. The adults are in the Daviess County Detention Center while the juvenile was taken to a secure facility.
