Four arrested on drug charges | Crime

Four people were arrested on drug charges in Owensboro Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

On Thursday  at approximately 7:48 p.m., members of the Owensboro Police Department Street Crimes Unit stopped a vehicle at W. 7th Street and Moreland Street.  A man, woman and small child were inside.  Detectives say they located numerous items inside the vehicle consistent with the manufacturing of Methamphetamine.

26-year-old Samantha Finley and 29-year-old Gary Grace were arrested and are facing several charges.  Social Services was contacted in reference to the child.

About  12:45 a.m., Thursday,  OPD opened an investigation stemming from multiple Crime Stopper tips at 2611 West Cloverdale Drive. The anonymous tips were in reference to possible drug activity at this location.

During the investigation Detectives executed a search warrant at the home and say they located several items consistent with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

The homeowner, 36-year-old Kelly Cunningham, and 29-year-old Barry James, were arrested and are facing meth charges.
