Traffic stop leads to meth trafficking arrest
A 45-year-old Owensboro man was arrested Wednesday night after a sheriff's deputy pulled him over for speeding and and later found materials used to make meth.
Deputies say Jerry Ross was stopped on Berwyn Avenue and found to have an active arrant. A baggie with a powery type substance that tested positive for meth was discovered inside the vehicle.
After searching his residence on Belmont Drive, they say they found items associated with meth dealing.
Ross is in the Daviess County Jail facing manufacturing and trafficking charges.
