This schnauzer needs to find a way home.   He went missing from the Apollo Area. Picture is from when he was groomed but he's probably a little more fluffy right now.

Neighborhood picnics planned in Seven Hills, Midtown East

Neighborhood picnics planned in Seven Hills, Midtown East

The Midtown East and Seven Hills Neighborhood Alliances will host a neighborhood picnic Saturday, May 26 at Legion Park.  The picnic will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  All citizens are invited.  There will be free food (cooking provided by Atmos Energy), Owensboro Police and Fire Department vehicles, an inflatable, giveaways, and music.   Come and enjoy family fun and learn more about what the neighborhood alliances do.

Olympic Luge Team will help kick off 2012 Soap Box Derby on new track

The Owensboro Lions Club announces the Soap Box Derby 2012, the inaugural race on their new 900-foot track in Ben Hawes Park. Events begin Thursday, May 31 and go through Sunday, June 3, with the actual races being run on Saturday, June 2.

This family event also features the USA Olympic Luge Team performing demos and offering the opportunity to take a ride on a slider luge.

12 Year old Sadie needs you

My name is Sadie, I'm 12 years old and my owners said that the landlord told them I had to go....Why? I was really good.

Sadie has no idea what is happening to her. She is such a sweet dog and we are hoping for a home for her where she can retire happily.  I couldn't imagine being dumped at that age....PLEASE help us HELP Sadie.
