Preschool students in the Daviess County Public Schools district and their families are invited to participate in Family Fun Nights this Christmas season.

Deer Park Elementary School is hosting an event at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 4959 New Hartford Road for preschoolers attending Burns, Deer Park, East View, Meadow Lands, Country Heights, Southern Oaks and Whitesville elementary schools.

PLEASE HELP US! We are FULL and these precious animals deserve a chance. Please adopt one of our babies. They will be for ever THANKFUL! Open you heart and home and give them that second chance they need. Here are just a few. There are so so many more.

The Daviess County Animal Shelter is challenging everyone in our area who can come to the shelter on Highway 81 to pick a dog to work with. Here is how it works:    

We are going to have a point system for training dogs that are "harder to place", the harder the dog is to place, the more points you will get.  You will get extra points for a dog who becomes sponsored and even more if your dog gets adopted!!

Of the list we will put up later, we want people to pick one dog, two if you have more time.
