OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE)- Those in uniform who never came home were remembered in Owensboro Tuesday night. Veterans joined members of the community to salute and honor the missing.

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE)- Officials have released the name of the man who died from injuries he sustained while working on the Blue Bridge in Owensboro.
The Daviess County Coroner has confirmed that the worker, 35-year-old Nett Gonzales, from Houston, TX, died as a result of the injuries he suffered while working on the bridge.
The coroner's preliminary report from the autopsy says he died from electrocution.

WESTERN KY (WFIE)- While there is relief that Century Aluminum will stay open, not everyone is cheering.
Three Western Kentucky businesses are joining forces to prevent the effects of that deal from impacting the "little guy".
Domtar, Aleris, and Kimberly Clark came together to form Fair Rate Kentucky in response to Big Rivers and Kenergy's rate proposal before the Kentucky Public Service Commission.
Fair Rate Kentucky says the rates proposed are unfair and will impact businesses and residential energy customers in western Kentucky.

OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE)- Emergency crews were called to the Blue Bridge in Owensboro Monday evening.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says a worker on the KY 2262 Ohio River, Blue Bridge, was seriously injured around 6:30 p.m.
We're told Owensboro Police and Fire units were called to the bridge where other employees working on the bridge painting project had found a 35-year-old co-worker unconscious in safety netting at the work site.
