A Maceo man is in jail on marijuana trafficking charges after a drug sniffing dog located a pound of marijuana inside his vehicle.
A Daviess County sheriff’s deputy stopped 43-year-old Lewis Moffett on US 60 East about 12:25 Thursday morning for driving without headlights.
A K-9 located the marijuana stashed in the rear door and inside the trunk of the car.
A passenger inside Moffett’s vehicle was arrested for unrelated warrants.
Moffett is facing Class D felony marijuana trafficking charges.
