OPD make arrest in Owensboro robbery & shooting
OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE)-
Owensboro police make an arrest in a robbery earlier this week where the victim got shot in the stomach.
It happened Sunday evening on Alexander Avenue.
The victim told police when he went to answer a knock at his door, a man burst into his home, shot him in the stomach and robbed him.
After an investigation, Owensboro police say they arrested and charged Derek Ferguson, 25, of Owensboro.
He's in the Daviess County jail on assault and burglary charges.
