TRAFFIC ALERT: Part of Old Hartford Rd. to one lane | News

Traffic will be restricted to one lane on KY 298/Old Hartford Road in Daviess County starting today.

This lane restriction is to allow placement of a bridge deck overlay on the Horse Fork Creek Bridge at KY 298 mile point 8.333.  This is on KY 298/Old Hartford Road between US 60/Wendell Ford Expressway and KY 1432/Burlew Boulevard in Owensboro.

One lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by an automated signal will be in place around the clock in this work zone.  Work at this site is expected to be complete by July 9, weather permitting.

Intech Contracting, LLC, is the prime contractor on this $1,188,296 repair project that includes deck work on various bridges in Daviess County.  Work on additional bridges that are part of this group project will be scheduled at a later date.
