OPD says these stores sold alcohol to minors | News
OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE)- The Owensboro Police Department Street Crimes Unit has been investigating local businesses to determine if any have been selling alcohol to customers under the age of 21.
The unit was able to conduct the operation thanks to a grant provided by the Daviess County ASAP board.
During the investigation over 30 businesses throughout the city were checked. The following locations completed alcohol sales to underage patrons that were participants of the investigation:
Shell Gas – 1211 Breckenridge Street
Fuel Express – 1100 E. 18th Street
Even Stevens – 3400 Old Hartford Road
Gulf – 900 Frederica Street
Shell Gas – 4625 Frederica Street
Fast Fuel – 4123 Frederica Street
Jimmy's Liquors – 1101 W. 9th Street
Shell Gas – 30 Bon Harbor Hills
Eagles – 1816 Triplett Street
The police department tells us that no charges have been filed at this time, and that the investigation is ongoing.
