Two injured, one arrested in Daviess Co. accident | News

DAVIESS CO., KY (WFIE)- Law enforcement and fire officials responded to an accident involving four vehicles and two motorcycles in Daviess County at the Highway 144 and Highway 405 intersection on Saturday night.
The Daviess County Sheriff's Office says 25-year-old Sarah Barnes was traveling east on Highway 144, approaching Highway 405, when she attempted to stopped and failed to do so. They say she hit two motorcycles that were being driven by Anthony Osborne and Steven Estes, both of Owensboro.
Deputies say Osborne and Estes were both wearing helmets and were thrown from their bikes. They say Osborne was thrown off the roadway and Estes was thrown into a Chevy Trailblazer. Osborne and Estes were both transported to OMHS with non- life threatening injuries.
Deputies say that Barnes then hit a Toyota after hitting the motorcycles. She was arrested for careless driving, possession of open alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, a DUI second offense, and two counts of assault. She was taken to the Daviess County Detention Center.
