DAVIESS CO., KY (WFIE)- Fire Department Press release: "Daviess County is NOT under a burn ban at this time, however we are in constantly monitoring this situation with the Kentucky Division of Forestry. In the event that Daviess County should go under a burn ban, we will advise immediately. All current laws and regulations are in effect.
Due to the extreme dry conditions we are urging residence of Daviess County to use caution when setting any fires.
Smokers please use caution in discarding any smoking materials. All fires should be closely monitored and NEVER left unattended.
If the fire should get out of control please call 911.
If you have any questions please call the Daviess County Fire Department @ 270-685-8440."
