Rider hurt in collision with pickup truck | News
A Daviess County man was hurt Thursday morning when his motorcycle was hit by a pickup truck.
Kentucky State Police say William a. Stinnett was trying to turn right off KY 54 onto Bold Forbes Way when he was struck by a 1997 Ford F-150 driven by 68-year-old Marion D. Smith of Fordsville.
Stinnett was thrown from the motorcycle, which may have saved him from more serious injuries. Troopers say the bike wound up trapped underneath the truck.
He was taken to OMHS where he was being treated for ankle and shoulder injuries. He is in stable condition.
