Owensboro accident causes minor traffic backups | News
Three cars were involved in an accident on JR Miller Boulevard in Owensboro on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say a Ford Escape that was traveling northbound on JR Miller attempted to make a left turn onto Weikel Drive when it collided with a Chevy Cobalt traveling southbound.
A Dodge Dakota pickup rear-ended the car in front of it, causing the Chevy to get sandwiched between the two cars.
The drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Traffic was moving normally by 4 p.m.
