OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE)- Kentucky law enforcement officials have arrested a Henderson man in connection with two bank robberies in Owensboro.

Owensboro Police Department say they received a tip that led them to 39-year-old Weston Hurd of Henderson.

Officers say Hurd is accused of robbing two Owensboro banks, First Security Bank on Frederica Street on December 28th and Kentucky Telco Bank on October 2nd.

Police say that the suspect entered the First Security Bank on Friday in possession of a small hand gun and demanded money. He was able to leave the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.
