DCPS names Asst. Superintendent of Teaching and Learning | News
Julie T. Clark has been named assistant superintendent of teaching and learning for Daviess County Public Schools.
She's been the director of middle and secondary schools since 2001 and will continue those same duties.
Her new responsibilities will include leading the district's commitment to "Great Expectations," college and career readiness, and working toward earning a distinguished district status.
Clark says one of her goals is to promote unity between schools and the district.
She'll do that by emphasizing how all schools can work toward common goals.
Clark was principal of McLean County Middle School from 1997-2001 and was assistant principal from 1995-97.
She also taught business at McLean County and Madisonville North Hopkins High Schools.
Clark was honored in 2010 by KASA with the Tom Vest Professional Development Award.
