Cigarette cartons stolen from Hill Billy | News

DAVIESS COUNTY, KY (WFIE)- On Thursday night, just before 11:30, a man dressed in dark clothing broke into the Hill Billy Convenience store. 

That's located in the community of Maceo, northeast of Owensboro in Daviess County, off of Highway 231.

The robber apparently shattered the glass in front door of the store to get in.

Once inside,  the suspect removed several cartons of cigarettes from the shelf.

Store owners are working with the Daviess County Sheriff's Office to figure out the number of cartons taken and a dollar value.

Store surveillance cameras caught a blurry picture of the perpetrator inside the store removing the cigarettes.
