Ben Hawes bike trails could see some extra care
OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE)- The mountain bike trails at Ben Hawes Park in Owensboro might soon receive some extra care and be open longer.
The city has been talking with the Kentucky Mountain Biking Association about maintaining a portion of the trails at the park. The idea will be presented at the Owensboro Board of Commission work session on Tuesday.
If the commission gives the go ahead, then the issue will be put on the agenda for a future city commission meeting.
The trails are currently closed because of the weather.
