KWC announces graduation guarantee and three-year option | Schools

Kentucky Wesleyan is guaranteeing students will graduate in four years or they’ll pay to get them through the final stages of their degree.  They’re also trying to make it easier on students to graduate in just three years.

The Four-Year Graduation Guarantee is KWC’s assurance to incoming freshmen that they will graduate with their degree in four years.  If not, provided they meet the requirements, KWC will waive the tuition for up to one year of classes needed to complete their degree.

“This is a promise to our students and their families,” states Director of Admissions, Rashad Smith, “as well as a representation of the college’s belief that a private education at Kentucky Wesleyan has long term value.”

Also beginning with the Fall 2013 class, the Three Year Degree Option at KWC will be available.  Designed for students who are eager to reduce their time to graduation, KWC’s three-year degree option programs allow for a faster entry into the work force or into post graduate education.

“Students pursuing the three-year degree option complete the same requirements as traditional four-year students and also have the same opportunities for studying abroad, undergraduate research, internships, and other experiences,” says Dr. Paula Dehn, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College, “but they attend college year round,” she adds.
