KHSAA 9th District Basketball Tournament schedule | Sports & Recreation

The  KHSAA boys & girls district basketball tournaments open up across the state of Kentucky next week.

The 9th district tournament this year is hosted by Owensboro High School.  This is the first year that OHS will host a district basketball tournament in its new gymnasium.

All tickets each night are general admission and cost $5.  Coaches, officials and administrators passes will be honored but for the cardholder only.  (Pass holders – please use the pass gate for admission which is located at the northwest corner of Owensboro’s gym – next to the athletic director’s office.)

Listed below is the schedule for the week.

At new OHS gym:

Girls District – Monday, February 18

• Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces (#1 Seed) vs. Daviess County Lady Panthers (#4 Seed) – 6:00 pm
• Apollo E-Gals (#2 Seed) vs. Owensboro Lady Red Devils (#3 Seed)   - 7:45 pm

Boys District – Tuesday, February 19

• Daviess County Panthers (#1 Seed) vs. Owensboro Catholic Aces (#4 Seed) – 7:00 pm

Boys District – Wednesday, February 20

• Owensboro Red Devils (#2 Seed) vs. Apollo Eagles (#3 Seed)  - 7:00 pm

GIRLS 9th DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

Thursday, February 21 – 7:00 pm

BOYS 9th DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP

• Friday, February 22 – 7:00 pm
