Audubon Parkway eastbound ramp to US 60 westbound closed starting Friday | Transportation

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close the eastbound Audubon Parkway Ramp Overpass to US 60 westbound at Owensboro starting promptly at 7:00 p.m., CDT, on Friday, June 22.

This ramp overpass closure at the Audubon Parkway Exit 24 Interchange with US 60 is for a deck rehab and overlay project.

There will be a marked detour.  Eastbound motorists taking the Audubon Parkway Exit 24-B that wishes to head westbound on US 60 will have to follow US 60 eastbound via Exit 24-A to the KY 81 Interchange, then loop back to US 60 westbound.

This closure and associated detour is expected to be in place for approximately nine days, weather permitting.

Intech Contracting, LLC, is the prime contractor on this $1,188,296 repair project that includes deck work on various bridges in Daviess County.  Work on additional bridges that are part of this group project will be scheduled at a later date.
