Owensboro plans downtown road closures | Transportation

There will be several different road closures downtown over the next few weeks.  They are as follows:

-City road and Owensboro Municipal Utilities crews will close the southbound lane of the 100 block of St. Ann Street (in front of Riverfront Crossing) starting tomorrow through March 1.

-RWRA subcontractor Walter Martin Excavating will close the southbound lane of the 100 block of Allen Street starting Monday, February 25 until March 8 for storm water work.

-West Second Street between Cedar and Elm Streets will be closed starting Monday, February 25 until Friday, March 29 as part of downtown street improvements.

All dates are subject to change due to inclement weather.  All detours will be appropriately marked.
